Our family was incredibly blessed to have Tiffany by our side as my husband was in hospice at Journey Care at Rush University Hospital.  My husband was the most devoted family man.  He was so strong with a big, warm personality and we found ourselves lost when his brain cancer rapidly progressed into a coma.  He lingered in hospice for many days beyond the doctor’s expectations, and a family friend suggested that we invite Tiffany to help us through the emotional journey of his transition.  She was so respectful of our space and needs, and spent time with my husband to support him through the transition as well.  It’s hard to describe the emotional peace and comfort that her presence brought us, and I truly believe that she brought that same comfort to him.  Our children were all in their 20’s, and they appreciated her presence as much as I did.  I have suggested to other friends who are facing a terminal illness with their loved ones to consider finding an end-of-life doula to support them within the hospice setting.  Having someone present whose sole focus is your dying loved one and your immediate family is an extraordinary gift at a critically important time.

I want to thank you again for the guidance you brought me when my Dad was sick until his passing. In October 2019, my Dad was in hospice care and I reached out to you for advice on how to accept his final journey in life. You listened to me about my challenges and my stories about him. Your gentle guidance lead me to a safe place to express my grief. Being among the very few people I called after he passed, I found great comfort in your words.

I have attended four of Tiffany’s Death Over-Dinner events. All were incredibly special experiences. Tiffany is knowledgeable and passionate about her work and supporting end-of-life transitions and care. She is an excellent facilitator and created a safe and comfortable space for us to discuss death and grief. Everyone in the group shared their stories and thoughts without judgment, which was a powerful experience. I am very grateful to have had this experience, and I highly recommend attending a death-over-dinner event hosted by Tiffany through her company, We Too Shall Pass.

I can’t thank you enough for providing a safe space for our dad to openly discuss and unpack such a unique and emotional stage in life. This is an area of discussion that is unknown territory for myself and my siblings included, so you being able to break the ice is so incredibly helpful. Also hearing that you were able to provide him some physical comfort is a huge bonus and melts my heart!

You provided a major emotional aspect to this process that is invaluable.

We will follow your lead and continue to comfort him with nostalgia, nurturing, and loving touch.
